FASHION NIGHT OUT GHANA 2012 TO HOLD ON 19TH OF MAY

FASHION NIGHT OUT GHANA is now the most talk about fashion show in Ghana. Here the is the press statement  released by the organiser at the press conference held at West Coast Entertainment Ghana Ltd office on Spintex road, Accra "As part of measures to lift up Ghana’s fashion industry, West Coast Entertainment Ghana, organisers of Miss Goldenwood and a subsidiary of Chibert Group of Companies, is staging the second edition of Fashion Night Out, Ghana.

It is an event promised to take fashion in Ghana to the next level and bring out the latest in especially African fashion styles. It is scheduled to take place May 19 at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra.

Being organised in collaboration with Ghana Tourist Board, the event is expected to attract over 50 models and 19 designers from Ghana and other eleven African countries to showcase their stunning creativity to the entire world.

Among them will be Allan David, Patrick Asante of House of Eccentrics, Kwab Asamoah of Kustomlooks, Nanna Nilson of Dreams by Nanna, Afri-ken Novelt, Nigeria’s Chris Adim of Ambassador Kouture, Cameroun’s Afroshic Clothing and a number of others.

Chief Chuks Ihenetu, CEO of Chibert Group of Companies, the umbrella body for West Coast Entertainment Gh Ltd speaking at the ceremony, underscored the need to promote African fabrics and said that was one of the main reasons his outfit was coming out with the second edition.

The first edition was held sometime April last year at the Kama Conference Centre at Labone.

He described it as one of a kind but added that the upcoming event would be better.

Also present at the ceremony were Bashiru Olu Wasiu-Ayinde, Event Coordinator, Nanna Nilson, the CEO of Dream by Nanna Clothing, and Selassie Banini, CEO of Selbani Art World. Herty Twens, the CEO of Gold Modeling Agency, Miss N. Raheal , CEO of Rassel Clothing, and many others.
