Omotola was born in a family of five to Mr. & Mrs. Shola Jalade (both late) and two brothers, Tayo and Bolaji Jalade. She attended Chrisland Nursery School , Opebi, Lagos, Oxford Children School , Santos Layout.Command Secondary School , kaduna. She studied Estate Management at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. She got married at the Ikeja registry on the 23rd, March 1996, and had a beautiful white wedding on board a DASH 7 Aircraft flying from Lagos to Benin, on the 19th April, 2001. Besides acting, she also sings and has two albums, Gba(2005) and released Me,myself & eyes(2010) alias -feel alright. She features as a writer for the Saturday SUN (Omotola's Diary) and occasionally gets involved in Social Services for women and charity homes. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is a beautiful award winning Nollywood actress known for her craft all around Africa.With over 30(thirty) awards and arguably the youngest recipient of the "best actress award" -Thema 1997. For this screen goddess, life is family, scenes in a movie, songs in an album and the sure pleasure of getting feed back from her fans. Omotola has within the space of 15 years been able to play major roles in most of her movies. She has played a prostitute, a prisoner, the lonely housewife, the bitchy manipulator and the girl next door. Omotola radiates the aura of a real star a total entertainer.
