FASHIONMANIA OF THE WEEK....YVONNE NELSON

 Yvonne...Uhmmm. the sexiest and beautiful angel born on Tuesday 12TH of November 1985, to Miss Margaret Gaddy and Mr. O. nelson in Accra. She started her basic education at Pope John Paul nursery then moved on to St. Martins. She attended Aggrey memorial Senior high School where she completed her senior secondary education. She pursue a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Human resource management option in one of the private university in Ghana(Central University College.)

Driven by the passion, She won her first pageant, Miss Aggrey, in Senior high, performing a song by Lauryn Hill. She won the best talent award and Miss Photogenic along with two other awards in 2005 Miss Ghana Beauty pageant.
The exposure of  Miss Ghana beauty pageant won her 2 year contract as face of Maxim Cosmetics.
Her acting career began in the famous series, Fortune Island, by Farm House Productions. Called in by Venus Films, She auditioned for a supporting role in the movie, Return of Beyonce.

Her first lead role was in the movie Princess Tyra, after which She have shot over fifty movies and still looking forward for more script to entertain and make the fans proud.

Her hard work has been recognized in and out of Ghana. She was nominated for the best Upcoming actress at the AMMA awards held in Nigeria, in 2007.  She won the best star actress at the Joy FM night with the stars in 2009.  Also in 2009, She was awarded the best actress by the Nigerian eye news paper awards and launch. In 2010, She was awarded Ghana’s favorite actress.  Being the first Ghanaian to star in a movie shot in Ivory Coast has really deepened her acting career.  One of her favorite Ghanaian Musician, Kojo Antwin also featured her in his music clip “Adea peh na”.
