REASON WHY KORA FASHION AWARD WINNER BEE ARTHUR PULLS OUT OF GLITZ FASHION WEEK

I broke the news this morning that B' Exotiq by Bee Arthur has pulled out of Glitz Africa Fashion week and I promised to bring you the full details on why she will no longer participate in the show. After my phone conversation with her, here is my feedback. Enjoy reading...

Bee Arthur, a fashion icon and celebrity designer,  was recently recognised by  Queen's Magazine for her ingenuity and for serving as a source of inspiration to the Young African woman. She was one of the 7 chosen ladies to receive the prestigious African Women Of Worth Awards for excellence in creative fashion design.
Throughout her career, Bee Arthur has remained  committed to supporting the Ghanaian Fashion industry and aspiring designers in Africa. Her works have appeared in numerous international magazines. Last week, her input into the creation of the WEB - Ghana's Young Designers' Association - was mentioned by the French Cultural Attache, Madame Valerie Lesbros to the visiting  French Minister of Francophony, Madam Yamina Benguigui , who was in Ghana to pay her respects to our late president Prof. J. Atta Mills.
Despite her busy schedule due to her  ongoing project with Malta Guinness as a celebrity judge for the Malta Guinness Street Dance Competition,
Bee Arthur has been working late night shifts preparing her "Faith 103" Collection which was intended for the upcoming Glitz Fashion Week here in Accra. The collection was named so in honour of Bee's grandmother who would have been 103 on the 17th of August had she not passed 3 years ago at the golden age of 100.
Unfortunately , disagreements with the producers regarding model metrics and timing has led to Bee Arthur pulling out of the event. The two parties remain on cordial terms, with Glitz Team expressing their desire to be able to work with Bee Arthur on future projects.
With many invitations and propositions constantly flowing in, Bee Arthur intends showing this collection dedicated to her beloved grandmother Faith somewhere in Africa before the end of the year. " I would have loved to show my collection at home because I usually take my work outside. But it seems my fellow compatriots will have to see the pictures in a foreign magazine".
The KORA Fashion award winner  might bee attending the Nigeria Fashion Week in November. " I really look forward to a great show in Africa. But I am also very open to any interesting shows at home. I think I must support the Fashion Industry here, which can be a great source of income to my country".
