THE RUNWAY FASHION SHOW HELD IN ABUJA, NIGERIA

The third edition of Runway, an annual fashion show in Nigeria was held Saturday.
Showcasing the best talents in Nigeria's fashion industry, the show held in the capital city of Abuja, brought together designers, models, stylists and make-up artists from many countries.
Ogwa Igweze, the organizer of the event, said that the show sought to revamp the industry and put the western African country on the world's fashion map.

"For Abuja market needs more explosion more light and there are lot of good designers who don't have the chance to show themselves. So it just one of the opportunities for highlight what Abuja has offered.
Basically, we're trying to create a social platform for Nigeria by making Abuja more socially enjoyable. We're also trying to throw more light on the fashion industry in Abuja, putting it on the fashion map, and let people of the world to know that there is a fashion event happening here as well."
The fashion show also provides a platform for small and medium-sized fashion designers to showcase their talents and products
