She has been dubbed “The African Fashion Icon that Conquered Australian Fashion” but right now, the side of the creative designer behind the Australian-Ugandan Design label Achea Mpong, Suzan Mutesi Mufumbiro, we get to see is her creativity through clothes.
Presenting her 2013 Ready-To-Wear collection, Suzan has wed mesh accents, leather, sheer fabrics and bodice cutouts.
Each piece stands as a platform on which you can leave the designs bare or dress them up with accessories. The designer explained that the collection is for individuals that love simplicity, sultry silhouettes and pieces that can be dresses up or down.
