GHANAIAN FASHION LABEL MABM PRESENTS 'BEAUTITUDES' COLLECTION WITH VITILIGO MODEL

When it comes to defining beauty, every culture has a standard. But there is a kind of beauty that is universal, that every man woman or child, no matter the language understands.
For the “Beatitudes” collection by Ghanaian fashion label MABM, the theme was confidence and self-acceptance. And what better way to show how every woman should accept herself the way she is than to use an inspiring model. Wearing colourful and stylish pieces from the collection is Kiara – the beautiful model with Vitiligo.
Vitiligo is a skin condition where some parts of the skin loose pigmentation causing white patches.
The aim for the collection and ultimately the design label is to bridge the gap between culture, style and fashion. It is about women being comfortable in themselves with what they wear as they embrace their sense of style.
According to the designer Maa Akua Berko-Mensah, “as a Ghanaian, my culture and upbringing have the biggest impact on the birth of my clothing line. The most important thing in our business is to adorn our women with confidence. At MABM Designs, our aim is to bridge the gap between culture, style and fashion.
