DAY1 OF MERCEDES BENZ AFRICA FASHION FESTIVAL

Day1 of Mercedes-Benz Africa Fashion Festival ended in Grand style with showcase by Ghanaian design label Afriken by Nana.
The show started pretty late with the look that many things are not going on well BUT later took everybody by surprise as most of us couldn't leave our seats until the show ended at about 11:20pm.
The well attended show saw students designer from Joyce Ababio College of Creative Design opened the show with eleven pieces collection, followed by Jessica Torks, Leah Misika from Namibia, E-Cash Shoes, Afriq Uniq by Abiba and other 4 designers.
I wasn't too impressed because most of the clothes were too ordinary and nothing spectacular so far on the runway.
Generally, it was a good and exciting show BUT I will advise the organizer to please cut down the artistes performances not only because you have wasted our time but majority of the artiste added no value to the show.
The sound system was very poor, I will give FAIR to the hosts, OK for the lighting and GOOD for the set up.
Looking forward to see day2 and hoping that the little mistakes would have been corrected before the shows.
