Nigeria was represented by two designers Sally Bawa Lagos and House of Jola at the 2014 Malta Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Fashion Awards which took place between the 22nd-31st of May at Malta’s capital city, Valletta.
Both designers showcased their latest Autumn/Winter 2014 collections.
The 2014 Malta Fashion Week was well attended by important dignitaries such as Ambassadors from the United States of America and South Africa.
House of Jola with Creative Director Joan Okorodudu and Sally Bawa Lagos who is creatively directed by self-named designer Sally Bawa showcased some captivating pieces on the runway that lead to features in Vogue.it and on Reuters.
Isis Models and a team made up of make up artists Bayo Haastrup, Tracey Iyoha and Chichi Nana were also on hand to give runway signature looks to the models.
