Nigerian based model and winner of NMAA 2014 Fashion model of the year award, Uba Ahunwa have landed a big gig with Middle East based cosmetics manufacturer STEPS as the face of the brand.
According to the information we gathered,
the multiyear contract worth one hundred million naira (Approx. USD 500,000).
The top model will be feature in several campaigns for the cosmetics
brand.
The versatile model that can only be
spotted on selected runway shows said; she limits her appearances on fashion
shows due to the extremely low wages paid for such hard work on local fashion
events. She has graced the runway of Africa International Fashion Week, Ecowas
Fashion Week, Nigeria Fashion Week and many other international shows; also
featured on lookbooks and campaigns for many notable brands.
