singer, Irene Logan looked stunning on the redcarpet at the maiden edition of
Glitz Style Awards held at the plush Movenpick Ambasador Hotel over the weekend
in Accra.
The songstress rocked
red dress from Accra based womenswear designer Alinafe’s 2015
collection with black and gold clutch bag and glowing make up by Nancyblaq.
Irene wowed the patrons
with an amazing performance to close the show; her hit songs, Akwasi Cassanova,
Medowo, and others were so refreshing to climax the beautiful evening of
celebration of style and hardworking individuals in the fashion and entertainment
industry.
In an interview on that
night about what she has been up to lately, Irene revealed that she’s currently
cooking songs with Bisa Kdei, Mugeez of R2bees and one with Wiyaala - ‘Conga’
is ready to be released anytime soon. She concluded that her management is also
putting together her birthday/valentine’s concert for February 2016.
The designer brand,
Alinafe who made Irene’s dress was one of the nominees for emerging designer of the year at the event and also nominated in
the same category at 2015 Fashion Icon
Awards held in June but did not win at both events.
