It was a little over a year ago that the fashion
community unexpectedly had to say goodbye to the ‘Godfather of fashion’ as many
of us called him in Ghana.
The remembrance fashion show was held on Friday, 30th
of October, 2015 at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
Kofi Ansah signature collection, Ashanti Kente
collection and Ewe Kente & Bogolan collection were showcased with support
from other Ghanaian top designers; Karim Issaka of Rim Artex, Allan David,
House of Eccentric, Greg Nallem, Kwab Asamoah of Kustom Looks Clothier,
Sub-Saharan by Sammi Laryea, Comfort Zone, Nathaniel Nunoo, Lesley Wiredu, Mina
Evans, African Novelty and Kati Torda of Sun Trade Ltd.
The event was hosted by radio and television presenter, Dorren Andoh and put together by Karim Issaka, Herman ofori-MacMillan, Pajohn Bentsifi and Samuel Odoi Laryea.
